AMS.Operations
Many Midstream companies make limited use of technology within their Operations function. There is typically a mix of manual processes and islands of automation. Paper tickets are stuck on a spindle, hand entered into spreadsheets, and then emailed to corporate for input into the accounting system. Those with home-grown applications are grappling with compliance concerns and keeping the applications relevant all the while trying to grow the business.

AMS.Operations puts powerful features at your disposal:

  • Manages contracts
  • Receives, schedules and actualizes orders
  • Manages inventory
  • Handles Accounts Receivable and billing
  • Provides Accounts Payable matching
  • Manages business associate information
  • Interfaces to rack systems
  • Consolidates data
  • Provides an audit trail

We built the AMS.Operations integrated solution leveraging the common components in our Asset Management Suite (AMS) product; CPASS our gas plant allocation and settlement system; and our extensive our scheduling and contract systems experience gained from years of working with Midstream Energy companies.

That experience also told us that there are two distinct audiences for AMS.Operations: those companies that buy, sell, and process NGLs and those that transport raw-mix and products. AMS.Operations has two personalities: AMS.Operations and AMS.Operations: Logistics. Each can be used independently of the other. With either or both in your toolkit, you'll improve overall accuracy and productivity as you enter your data once into the system and it flows seamlessly to where AMS.Operations processes and analyzes it and then onto external systems, such as your accounting software.
